Our Story

Sevens Restaurant & Steakhouse in Clear Lake, IA, has been proudly serving the community since 2009, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every meal is a celebration of flavor. As a locally owned and family-operated business, Sevens carries a rich history rooted in dedication to quality, service, and great food. The story begins in 1995, when the father of the current owner opened Rookies, a beloved local bar and grill that quickly became a Clear Lake favorite. His passion for hospitality and commitment to serving delicious food made Rookies a huge success. In 2008, when the building next door to Rookies became available, he saw an opportunity to expand on that vision. He purchased the property, and with a deep love for the business and community, he opened Sevens Restaurant. Eventually, he handed it down to his son, who continues the tradition with the same passion and pride.

At Sevens, we focus on delivering consistently high-quality meals made fresh in-house. Our menu features a wide variety of options to suit any appetite, including hearty breakfasts, flavorful lunch specials, and satisfying dinners.
